personally, the person recording/mixing/mastering is the most important part of recording. without someone who knows what they are doing, it is going to sound like crap even if the singer and equipment are amazing

you’re right, most …
you’re right, most people that don’t invest in good cables will end up replacing them often because of damage or because of the distortion they produce. mogami cables do the job pretty well, they’re a good investment.

HAHAHA,,, these …
HAHAHA,,, these videos are all completely ridiculous. I keep watching them though because they’re so funny.
These headphones are so you can hear the music while you’re recording into the microphone. This microphone is what you sing into while you wear the headphones. You don’t want to sing into the headphones and try to hear the music through the microphone. That’s just bad form.

The space you mix …
The space you mix in and the monitors are the most important parts in a studio. If you can’t accurately hear what your doing through your monitors then it doesn’t matter. The cost of microphones means nothing! You can have a really expensive mic that isn’t appropriate for certain applications. Also, great recordings have been made with “lesser” microphones. If you were pro you would know this.

I got this and the Neumann u87, and a lot of people says that the Neumann u87 is the best which it is close to, but in my opinion i think that this mic is a lot better on vocals tho they both are really good on vocals, I would definitely recommend theses for rapping.
