Can you bring recording equipment into International Airports?

I’m going to be traveling near the holidays of this year. I wanted to record my travels and make a video- with clips from the airports included. Are you allowed to take video equipment to Intl. airports? Just a camcorder.

So many times I’ve had things taken away (liquids, nails files I’ve forgotten about…) and I know I’d be really sad if I lost my camera. I feel like this is a question that everyone knows. Except me. So help me please?

if you are traveling at middle east you will have a problem with camera/ vedio camera. but if your traveling to Austraila, US, Europe, Asia. you will not have any problem with your camera/ video camera/ camcorder. it is allowed be brought in the plane. but there are area’s inside the international airport that you are not to use it. especially in the immigration area going into or going out of any country. you will notice a sign that camera/camcorder is not to be use. just make sure that your camera/camcoder is off everytime you pass a X-ray machine.

I’ve never heard of anybody having a camera taken away, and that’s all a video camera is. I would presume that they might want to have you show them it actually works, but beyond that, I can’t imagine why you couldn’t take it any more than a still camera.
